Many electronic products can improve the air quality in your home. But do you know the differences between each of these products? Many terms may be unfamiliar to you.
Rather than buying the wrong one and regretting it because it turns out that its function is not as expected, it is better to learn the comparison first. For example, between an air purifier and a dehumidifier. What is the actual function of each of these devices?
Air Purifier for Those of You Who Want to Be Free of Allergies
As the name implies, an air purifier functions as an air purifier. If you have a dust allergy or asthma, an air purifier is the right choice. Houses that have poor ventilation are also suitable for using an air purifier so that the air quality in the room is better.
How an Air Purifier Works

An air purifier regulates the air circulation in the room. The filter in the machine will filter out dust and other particles in the air. Some types of air purifiers can also remove odors. With an air purifier, you can get clean and odor-free air.
Coverage Area
One of the best places to place an air purifier is in the bedroom. Each air purifier has a different range. Some are for personal use (coverage area under 10 square meters), and some are for large rooms up to 65 square meters.
AZKO itself has several brands of air purifiers, namely Kris, Clair, and Coway. Each has its own advantages and unique features. Especially for Clair, this air purifier uses an e2F filter, which is electrostatic technology that attracts dirt and dust from the air like a magnet.

Dehumidifier for Rooms That Are Too Humid
You may have heard the term humidifier more often. This tool functions to increase humidity in the room. Humidifiers are commonly used in four-season areas where winters are too dry.
On the other hand, there is also a tool called a dehumidifier. This tool functions the opposite way, namely reducing humidity. In tropical areas like Indonesia, this tool is more suitable. Rooms that are too humid can trigger mold and moss.
This is what causes various wooden furniture, clothes, or your favorite books to be damaged quickly. Damp rooms are also favored by termites, moths, cockroaches, millipedes, and mites. This is where you need a dehumidifier.
How a Dehumidifier Works

A dehumidifier functions to maintain air humidity levels within normal limits. A dehumidifier works by drawing water from the air. Water that has collected in the dehumidifier must be removed every few hours so that the machine can work optimally.
Coverage Area
Unlike air purifiers, dehumidifier comparisons are measured based on their water storage capacity. There are the smallest with capacities ranging from 10 liters to the largest that can hold up to 50 liters. Depending on the humidity, you usually have to empty the contents of the water storage container every 8-12 hours.
If you don't want to go back and forth often, it's worth considering buying a dehumidifier with the largest size. AZKO itself has two brands of dehumidifiers, namely Kris and Perfect Aire. Both of these dehumidifiers have an auto shut-off feature that turns off automatically when the water tank is full. So don't worry.
